About Jason Coward
Jason Coward is a father, an accomplished web developer, a seasoned drummer, and an aspiring photographer. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, he was a military brat spending his early years at various locations in Texas before heading to the northeast near the Mason-Dixon line. There he started exploring the world of 35mm film photography in high school art class. Living near the Appalachian trail wet his appetite for mountain living.
After moving back to Texas and spending many years attempting to work as a full-time drummer, Jason began his web development career in Austin, Texas in the late 1990's. He moved back to West Texas to be closer to family just before the turn of the century and rediscovered photography as a hobby in digital form.
Jason decided to move to the southern Rocky Mountains years later and currently resides in Pagosa Springs, Colorado where he continues his web development career working from home. The area serves as a perfect home base for exploring and capturing the incredible beauty of the San Juan mountains. And now, as a serious photography enthusiast, Jason enjoys developing his talents in many genres including landscape, nature, wildlife, night, travel, architectural and lifestyle.
